Unfortunately, most people would give it a miss and not even attempt the task. This is a perfectly normal reaction to this type of situation, no one likes to fail.
We are going to talk about this in the context of lifestyle changes. Let's take for example, someone who is over weight and has been for most of their life. In order to change they must do things that they are not comfortable with such as, eating different foods, going to the gym and maybe even changing up their social life and friends. This is a scary prospect for everyone!
The truth is that if you never try anything due to the fear of failure, you will NEVER succeed.
Changing your outlook on failure is key to success! Instead of thinking that failure is the end of the road, simply change this thought to, now I know that that way doesn't work for me. You will always learn something worthwhile!
